Question 1

Are all appointments done in person?

Accepted Answer

No. We offer both in-person appointments at our Park Slope office and virtual appointments by telehealth. Many patients use a mix of both depending on the week.

Question 2

What can I expect during my consultation?

Accepted Answer

Your provider will take a thorough history of your symptoms, the treatments you've tried, and your goals for care. Together, you'll work toward a treatment plan. If appropriate, you may receive a prescription that day.

Question 3

I'm ready to get started. How can I pay?

Accepted Answer

We accept Aetna, 1199SEIU, UnitedHealthcare, UBH, UMR, Oxford, Oscar, and NYCE PPO, plus credit cards, including HSA and FSA cards. We also offer a limited number of sliding-scale spots. Self-pay rates: intake $350, medication management follow-ups $175, ketamine inquire-within.

Question 4

Where is the office located?

Accepted Answer

Our Park Slope office is near several subway stations, including Atlantic Terminal. The address is 641 President Street, Suite 201, Brooklyn, NY 11215.

Question 5

Who do you see?

Accepted Answer

We see tweens, young adults, and adults across NY, NJ, and CT. We are LGBTQIA+ inclusive, and we work often with first-time-in-care patients, treatment-resistant cases, and people looking for one provider for the long term.

Question 6

What does affirming care actually mean here?

Accepted Answer

It means gender-affirming medication management when relevant, working with the realities of chosen family, and treating the mental-health consequences of discrimination as medical concerns. It is what we do, said plainly.
